Otsego County Community Center
Students interested in participating in the Student Open Gym Program must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian on file at the Community Center. Waivers must be completed and returned to the Otsego County Community Center prior to the student's participation in Open Gym.
Open Gym
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 3 to 5 pm
Instructional Classes/Games
These instructional classes are intended to teach students to play basketball. Classes are for both Boys and Girls. They are held on Saturdays from October 5th through November 9th.
Open Gym
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 3 to 5 pm
Students in grades 4th through 12th are permitted to use the facility during this time (please note the grade levels allowed to participate in Student Open Gym as they have changed from previous years). Students are not permitted to come to the facility during school hours. Adults ages 18 and older who are no longer in high school are not permitted to use the facility from 3 pm to 5 pm during the week unless they are a parent or guardian of a student using the facility.
Open 7 days a week, the Community Center is always the center of activity in the county with athletic leagues and classes.

For Youth
- Bear Basketball league - Students 3rd to 6th grade
- Gymnastics date and times TBD
- Tennis
During the warm months, the 2 outdoor basketball courts and 2 outdoor tennis courts are active from morning to night. Both youth and adults enjoy the well maintained outdoor facilities on the grounds of the Community Center.
Pickle Ball
Pickle Ball is available on Tuesdays and Fridays from 1:00pm-4:00pm.
BEAR Basketball
- 3rd to 6th Grade Boys and Girls: Cost is $25

Recreational League Games (grades 3-6) are held on Saturdays and Sundays in January and February. Saturday games begin at 9:00am and Sunday games begin at 1:00pm.

Boyne Area Gymnastics
Instructors from Boyne Area Gymnastics provide classes every Tuesday during the school year. For more information about fees and class times please contact Kari Streelman at (231) 582-9787.
Community Playgroup
The community playgroup is for children up to 5 years old and their caring adult, held Tuesdays and Fridays during the school year from 9:30am - 11:30am. The Community Playgroup is coordinated by Laura Cherry.
Note: If school is cancelled for any reason, playgroup will not meet.
